MORE THAN A SALON…
A SPACE SHAPED BY SMALL BUSINESSES AND CREATIVES
In 2021, while still in university and working on her dissertation, Ruby Bryant embarked on an exhilarating journey of renovating a salon, The concept of RSB had been conceived by her during her time at university, born from her unwavering love and passion for creating a space that celebrated creativity in all its forms. As Ruby had learned the art of nails from gaining experience working in nail salons from a young age. she nurtured the idea of creating her own salon into reality, laying the foundation for RSB's extraordinary journey.
On the day of the eagerly anticipated launch event, amidst the buzz and excitement, she discovered the news of the gender of her upcoming baby, adding an extra layer of joy and emotion to the already memorable occasion. The launch event took place in June 2021 and was in collaboration with the renown Bunk Wings. Determined to balance her newfound motherhood and her passion for the newly established salon, she returned to work six weeks later. With Senior Nail Technicians Mia and Evie by her side, Ruby and RSB Studios was ready to make their mark in Nottingham City Centre.

We have had the opportunity to collaborate with brands such as Coco & Eve as well as proudly hosting Artist Takeovers on a regular basis. Our Artist Takeovers allow local talents to showcase their work as interior decor in the salon as well as having their artwork available to buy to RSB visitors.
With open arms, we welcome new talents. There is the chance to train with us and learn how to become a nail technician through our in-house training programme. We are always eager to foster an environment that promotes fairness and supports the self-employed artists who join our team.
As we reflect on the incredible journey RSB has undertaken, we remain thankful for the love and support that has propelled our vision forward. Standing amidst the echoes of laughter, the strokes of nail brushes, and the pulsating energy of creativity, we are filled with gratitude for our journey thus far and look to the future with unwavering optimism, knowing that RSB will continue to serve as a haven for artists seeking to express their creativity in the city centre.
